Shawn Stussy, a passionate surfer active in Southern California founded his own clothing brand in the late ’80s. With the style of many musicians, DJs and other Trend-Setter artists in mind in New York, London and Tokyo, Stussy incorporates Surf culture into its own clothing. In the ’90s, the Stussy signature clothing line was only intended for sale in very specific, and carefully selected stores around the world. This, to this day, gives fans of the brand the feeling of a strongly connected network.
