Based in Los Angeles, WKND was the brainchild of Grant Yansura. Grant was a recognized Skater while also creating related content videos. Having previously worked with Nike SB and gained valuable experience, Grant knew exactly what he needed to do with WKND. He assembled a team of passionate people, and did away with the typical corporate format or meetings, replacing them with conversations in a small van. So, WKND kept the style that Skaters love in their clothing and boards.
